Console to PC
Just to interrupt the Nintendo Switch 2 talks momentarily, but I recently came across the Minecraft watched a movie called Minecraft with my kids, and it's certainly not great, much like the game itself. Super Mario Brothers, regardless of how skilled they may be, Fallout And even though The Last of Us could potentially succeed on television, it seems unlikely that video game adaptations will ever become truly great films.
Despite this, they are undoubtedly raking in substantial profits since my theater was completely packed. The audience included overly enthusiastic teenagers, young children full of excitement, and many bewildered parents. I find myself at a loss for anything insightful to share about the film; it met all my expectations, but much of it went by too swiftly for me to retain significant details. However, I appreciated how Jack Black seemed hardly invested in his role, which made it somewhat easier for me to sit through the entire thing.
I accompanied my cousin and his children, and I observed that they soon started arguing about where and how to play the game. My kids were teased for using the Nintendo Switch, while the others claimed it was superior on PC. Upon checking at home, I discovered that the game isn't even available on Steam, which likely accounts for why it doesn't appear on those lists.
If so, would it rank as the top game? I’d guess it likely would. Regardless, for those who weren’t aware, you can obtain a complimentary trial from the platform. Microsoft website here It seems my children will be switching to the PC version instead. I believe this reflects the trends of our time overall.

It truly feels as though the Switch 2 is unraveling right before our eyes. More than a week has passed, yet we’re still unaware of the pricing for many games and their upgrades. However, certain nations appear to be privy to this information regarding the upgrades and "Welcome Tour." Instead of keeping the U.S. in suspense, it appears that Europe is the region left waiting anxiously, with Nintendo seemingly overlooking them.
Why haven't we been informed about the prices yet? What are they awaiting? Why do they seem determined to keep enthusiastic fans puzzled and annoyed? This whole situation with the Switch 2 Edition games Is the most confusing, as everyone seems to have a different account, and Nintendo won’t simply clarify what’s actually happening.
And only after more than a week do we discover that payment is required for this. Downloadable Content for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" Individually, despite costing £67, why is this detail just coming to light? Are they intentionally trying to maintain a constant flow of negative press? Is Sony overseeing their marketing efforts?

Ready and waiting
Let's be practical; if Nintendo decided to postpone the Switch 2 Direct because of tariff uncertainties, they wouldn't delay it just for a day or a week—they'd push it off indefinitely.
U.S. import tariffs will likely remain complicated for an extended period. With the announcement of a 90-day delay for all countries except China, it seems Americans might have to wait between three to six months before any definitive deals are reached and products can finally hit the market over there.

GC: The release of the Switch 2 in the U.S. and elsewhere will not be delayed. Nintendo has already supplied ample inventory in these regions prior to the imposition of tariffs.

Third party prices
I'm concerned about the pricing ambiguity surrounding the Switch 2, particularly because nothing has been mentioned regarding third-party prices. Why would someone purchase the two-year-old Elden Ring game at £70 for the Switch 2 when they could get it for just a fraction of that cost on other systems and PCs?
The cheeky response might suggest that folks who've solely owned a Switch could potentially buy major AAA titles such as Elden Ring and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. However, I'm skeptical about how many individuals fall into this category and would actually want these intricate games. Additionally, I question whether charging full price—£60+—for each underwhelming port available on the Switch will do much besides adding further woes for Nintendo.

Slab of electronics
I’m not fond of getting into this type of argument, but I must point out that the European Mega Drive is hands down the most visually appealing console ever created. Are you trying to claim that the PC Engine surpasses it in terms of looks? Take a moment to appreciate its sleek design; it even featured an earphone jack. and a dial that gave you the sensation of being a DJ.
It was even better looking than the Japanese one. Was the European Mega Drive designed in Europe? How could the Japanese allow it to be better looking than theirs? Anyway, happy I’ve made my statement. In parting, GC, could you give me your top five best looking consoles, not handhelds, of all time? See ya.
Henry
GC: As mentioned earlier, our favorites include the PC Engine, the Japanese/European SNES, and the PSone. We might also add the Neo-Geo and Mega Drive to that list. Alternatively, the Wii and Xbox One S could be included. There are simply too many consoles out there that look like plain black slabs.
Quiet summer
It’s somewhat let down by Microsoft gearing up for what appears to be a less impressive update. summer showcase If their main focus is going to be The Outer Worlds 2, I'm not sure how enthusiastic most players will be about it.
I certainly believe they have an impressive lineup here, featuring titles like Fable, Gears Of War: E-Day, Perfect Dark, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Clockwork Revolution. While it remains uncertain whether all these games will be major blockbusters—Fable and Gears might lead the pack—I must commend their effort for offering a wider range of choices this time around, something that adds significant value.
I expect they might unveil some fresh content as well, perhaps including a revamped version of Halo or something from Double Fine’s development team. While I remain somewhat hopeful, if Sony isn’t confident about hosting a comprehensive presentation, I doubt this year will bring many surprising new announcements my way.
I was hoping that Nintendo would address the lack of activity from their competitors, but I found the Direct presentation underwhelming and anticipated many more announcements than were made. The sole new property I recall is the wheelchair basketball game, which seemed like an amateurish independent title.

Console get!
To mention that I managed to overcome Nintendo’s pre-order system in the end. I repeatedly requested the verification code anywhere from 12 to 15 times until they suddenly started appearing consecutively, with the final attempt being successful. It was quite challenging!
I'm hoping the console will be worth it. "Mario Kart World," "Donkey Kong Bonanza," and "Farovinto" seem fantastic. Now I simply need to complete my current game, Sekiro, before moving on; hopefully, it won’t prove too challenging.

The litmus test
Recently, someone mentioned that it feels like quite some time has passed since we last heard about Devil May Cry 6, and now I came across the news that there’s a The Netflix series that's currently performing exceptionally well. (I hadn’t come across it until now).
I'll never see it, but if this leads to additional funds for Capcom, adding to the substantial amount they're receiving from Monster Hunter Wilds, I fully support it. The introduction of the new Onimusha suggests they might invest in wild ventures even if these projects likely won't be very profitable. They seem determined to proceed regardless.
To my mind, this indicates an excellent publisher. Such practices are common with companies like Nintendo and Square Enix but not so much with EA or Activision. Specifically, Activision represents the antithesis of this approach since they have essentially ceased developing any games apart from Call Of Duty.
I would suggest adding Microsoft to his list as well, though I'm uncertain about their expectations for certain games. For instance, did they anticipate that "South Of Midnight" wouldn’t generate much interest prior to release? While they might have known this, did they perhaps also believe it would receive positive reviews? It seems likely they did. No one embraces Xbox promotions with greater enthusiasm than Microsoft itself.
Given all the recent discussion about artificial intelligence, there’s a significant risk that creativity might be entirely removed from mainstream video games, excluding indie titles. A key indicator would be whether a company decides to create something purely based on their passion rather than solely due to potential high sales figures.

I'm not sure which part is more insane about that. Pokémon card story The notion that a trading card could save a person’s life, or that in America, somebody firing a shot through your bedroom wall might not even be sufficient to rouse you from sleep.

If they eventually launch Titanfall 3, I wish it coincides with the release of Half-Life 3, since that might literally unravel our world. It feels like anticipation for these long-awaited follow-ups has lasted as long as my gaming career.
