Washington [US], April 10 (ANI): The comedian and actor Eric Andre spoke openly about one of his most significant professional remorsees. It involved refusing Kieran Culkin his Academy Award-winning performance in the comedy-drama movie A Real Pain , directed by Jesse Eisenberg .
"While I was busy with another project, I came across the script. The script turned out to be around 120 pages long, focusing mainly on two Jewish individuals discussing the Holocaust, which initially struck me as rather gloomy. Then I thought to myself, ‘I am a comedian, so maybe I should stick to comedy,’" he mentioned during an interview on the show. Jimmy Kimmel Live !, reported People.
Andre mentioned that he wasn't certain whether the film suited his personal image. Reflecting back, he stated it was "his greatest error throughout his whole career."
Kimmel questioned whether he had actually read the script prior to declining the proposal.
“I only managed to go through about ten pages,” AndrĂ© remarked, further stating, “Have you ever tried reading a script? It’s incredibly dull. Reading one feels just like being back at school during summer break. No amount of Adderall could make me sit down and finish even a single script.” This was according to the report from the outlet.
He went on, "I'm fine with movies, but I have no idea what unfolds after the second act."

"I ask you not to play the music since I'd like to share a brief tale about jazz. A year back, I found myself on a similar platform where I imprudently declared during my acceptance speech at the 2023 Emmy Awards that I desired a third child after she mentioned giving me one if I won an award," he explained, alluding to his remarks made earlier.
He went on, "She said that because she didn't believe I would emerge victorious," according to the source.

He continued, "I extended my hand; she shook it, and since then, I haven’t mentioned it—until right now," according to reports from People magazine. (ANI)
