Behavioural Science Group ( BSG ) has announced that Abu Dhabi will be hosting the internationally acclaimed Behavioural Exchange (BX2025) conference for the first time in the MENA region from April 30 to May 1, 2025, with the theme "New Horizons in Behavioral Science."
Prior to the event, Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the significance the UAE attributes to behavioral science in shaping decisions regarding intricate issues and achieving superior societal outcomes. This field relies on a profound comprehension of human choices and provides perspectives on potential public responses to various policies or programs.
He highlighted that by grasping what motivates behavior, people can be better equipped to chase their own aspirations while simultaneously enhancing the welfare of their broader societies. These changes in conduct are crucial for progress—aiding advancements in community health and nutrition, promoting eco-friendly practices, and ensuring personal decisions match larger governmental aims at both national and international levels. Additionally, insights from behavioral studies help streamline bureaucratic procedures and boost the efficiency of societal initiatives.
