Washington [US], April 10 (ANI): The actor Orlando Bloom recalled filming for the trilogy of epic fantasy adventure movies, ' The Lord of the Rings Directed by Peter Jackson, adapted from the book The Lord of the Rings by the British author J.R.R. Tolkien.

As a budding actor fresh from drama school, I recall being in their presence among all these legendary figures," Bloom recounted at a 'Lord of the Rings' panel during Awesome Con in Washington, D.C., according to People magazine. He continued, "'I couldn’t help but wonder, what am I doing here? How did this come about? It’s incredible,' he shared.

He mentioned that it was an exhilarating experience," when discussing the shooting of the initial movie from the series, which came out in 2001.

What I'm trying to say is, at age 20, we had read the books and kind of grasped the potential of what might happen, yet we didn’t truly know since it was my initial foray into film. It felt as though I was a blank slate filled with anticipation, excitement, and a profound sense of opportunity—like starting anew and embarking on something extraordinary. If only I could capture those emotions and share them with everyone… None of us actually realized exactly what we were getting ourselves into back then.

Bloom, famous for portraying the elf Legolas in the movies, was accompanied by his co-stars. Liv Tyler , Sean Astin and Jonathan Rhys-Davies at the panel.

Tyler mentioned that "being part of this entire realm was incredibly thrilling and daunting due to the enormity of the content. It made me feel a great sense of duty, which persists even now. The subject makes me anxious whenever I discuss it. We had an immense amount to grasp," according to the source.

Discussing her role as Arwen, she remarked, “She’s an enchanting yet somewhat enigmatic figure since she appears less frequently in the novels. Therefore, we had to work out ways to convey her essence within the movies and develop her narrative, which evolved quite a bit over time.” She added, “I continue to feel awestruck and motivated by her even now,” according to People magazine. “Back then, being so young made it challenging for us to grasp all aspects of our roles as they unfolded.”

' The Lord of the Rings The entire trilogy reportedly amassed an impressive $2.9 billion globally. (ANI)
