By the conclusion of March 2025, Morocco had received 4 million visitors, representing a significant 22% rise from the equivalent timeframe in 2024.
As stated by the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and the Social and Solidarity Economy, this achievement bolsters the country's status as a premier travel destination.
To break it down, Morocco welcomed approximately 2.1 million international tourists along with 1.9 million visitors from the Moroccan diaspora. Addressing this, Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor noted that even during Ramadan, which overlapped with March, the numbers showed evidence of "the significant evolution of Morocco’s tourist offerings." This demonstrates how the country's tourism sector successfully adapted to cater to more discerning travelers.
