At the graduation ceremony for Regular Career Course 63 officers held at the Ghana Military Academy in Teshie, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces attended wearing their military uniform.
A clip on X displayed the President reaching the Ghana Military Academy in Teshie and stepping out of his vehicle.
When he showed up, the group of individuals present there greeted him with applause—perhaps to honor him or simply to express their appreciation for how well he looked in his attire.
President Mahama proceeded confidently to the lectern where his designated seat awaited him. Upon arriving at the spot, he greeted the other officials sitting nearby.
Afterwards, the band played the national anthem and just like other uniformed officers present, President Mahama saluted until they had finished playing.
It isn’t the first instance where this politician has been seen in an army uniform. Back in 2016, during his initial term as the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, he appeared in military attire for the ceremony inaugurating the new naval headquarters complex at Burma Camp.

He was never enlisted, whether or not he held the position of commander-in-chief, he doesn't deserve to wear those uniforms.

There’s one aspect about @JDMahama that remains undeniable—he sports military uniforms remarkably well. In fact, he might be the most militarily styled president in Ghana’s history, following closely behind Papa J!
