“As residents of this nation, we ought to advocate for the impoverished who are being oppressed. Whenever I listen to the queries from those who speak out — what am I supposed to tell them? Our fight will persist. No matter what sacrifices we must endure, we shall bear them calmly. Even prior to our freedom, such sacrifices had been made,” he stated.
Moreover, he stated, "In this nation, certain individuals are attempting to lead us down this path; however, many of you will join our cause. The times will shift."
He called for non-violent resistance and encouraged people to voice their disagreement within legal limits.
"We have called upon the public to demonstrate peaceably and ubiquitously. We also denounce all acts of violence—as they will merely undermine our cause," stated Madani.
